Wedding planner Elite Wedding Creatives shared a sweet video of their clients, Amelia and Felix tying the knot last July. According to the video, 70-year-old bride Amelia has never been in a relationship before. The former teacher and businesswoman is what younger folks would call “NBSB” or No Boyfriend Since Birth.

For Amelia, love arrived early (she met Felix when they became classmates in kindergarten) but took quite a long detour. The pair haven’t spoken in 6 decades when they reconnected again thanks to social media.

“Nung una, linggo-linggo ang pag-uusap. Nang lumaon, naging araw-araw na,” Amelia told GMA News. “Kaya ‘yun ang sinabi ko, ‘Ba, iba na ito, ha. Hindi na ito friends.”

Felix, for his part, said that they started messaging and when they clicked, they upgraded to audio and then video calls. Since he lived abroad, he flew to the Philippines to meet his “childhood crush” who lives in Bulacan. And like a fairytale story, Felix and Amelia got married after a few months.
