Starring: Lourd De Veyra, Xiao Chua
Unique Selling Point: Come on, guys. Lourd De Veyra and well-known History professor Xiao Chua playing Sherlock and Watson? This is the stuff dreams are made of, and you are wallowing in it!
Starring: Ryan Bang
Unique Selling Point: Instead of just a straight tagalized version, why not use one of the other licenses of ABS-CBN as a way for them to add a wrinkle to the formula? While poking fun at the format of PBB itself, coupled with generally snarky yet otherwise decidedly unsexy or uninteresting people headed by Ryan Bang, this may very well be the most unpredictable, and possibly least scripted PBB season ever! Ohhh, snap!
Starring: Goyong, Bimby Yap
Unique Selling Point: Bimby Yap shows up only for the first and last episode of the series. Hoorayyyyy!!!
Starring: Gus Abelgas
Synopsis: Ayon sa aming mga Scene of the Crime Operatives, ang biktima at ang salarin, ay iisa.
Unique Selling Point: Instead of making a docudrama ala-SOCO, just make Gus Abelgas be channel 2’s response to Kapuso Mo, Jessica Jones, and have him solve crimes, throw silly one-liners, and do it all without ever changing his slow-paced, eerie-sounding voice. Eat your heart out, Horatio Caine!
Of course, the main tension in CSI Manila, is whether or not the CSI guys are actually involved in the latest crime of the week or not, because their DNA keeps contaminating the scene, weirdly enough.
