So recently, Cesar Montano gave a nice video shoutout to a kagawad that went viral because of an, ahem, ghostly apparition in the background. We’d love to share the video here, but we’re sure you can find it for yourselves, and we’ll leave it at that.
But see, “Happy birthday, kagawad” is just another in a long line of things where the real good stuff going on isn’t where you’re expecting to see it. Sometimes, you have to look a little extra hard, and then it just shocks you right away. Here are just 8 examples of that.

You would think it’s the dapper man in a fine suit, talking about the South Korea situation with such eloquence and expertise, but his two daughters and super-responsive wife argue otherwise very convincingly.
It’s so easy to be misdirected when people try to call your attention to what they want you to see, which is why watching this master pickpocket at work really gives you a great idea just how easy it is to distract even the most astute among us. Whenever people say magic is all about hand speed, this demonstration proves how wrong people are.
Watch it, and be amazed at how your own mind plays tricks on you when you’re focused on the wrong thing.
