TikTok has taken over social media over the past months. Nowadays, you’ll find people of different ages (yes, even oldies are on TikTok too) trying different dance challenges and dubbing the funniest movies. And we get why the app is popular; the videos are just fifteen seconds to a minute long! However, TikTok isn’t only popular for its dance crazes; there are videos that are actually helpful like hacks and recipes. If you haven’t fallen into the TikTok craze yet, these viral recipes are your excuse to download the app and spend more time in the kitchen.

Vegans, you got this one on point. This is a smart way to make non-vegetable eaters consume a good portion of vegetables because it looks exactly like bacon and has the same crunch. If you’re on a healthy agenda this quarantine, maybe you can replace actual fatty bacon with this one. Same satisfaction, minus the guilt.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen this popular whipped coffee drink in everyone’s feed the past month. It’s arguably one of the most popular creations made during the quarantine. The famous dalgona coffee was popularized by South Koreans on quarantine and was based on the popular street candy which is called — you guessed it — dalgona.

This may look like a normal sandwich, but it’s the way that you put it together that’s extra nifty. This way, you don’t have to toast the bread separately as you can do everything in just one pan. And once you got the method down, the possibilities are endless. You can put whatever you want on your sandwich, whether it be layers of ham and cheese or a complete BLT.

Missing Starbucks? You can make a version of their vanilla bean frappuccino with this hack. Honestly, after this quarantine, we’re all coming out as baristas. Coffee shops who? I only make my own coffee.

Are you on the hunt for the perfect cookie? Then this Oreo cheesecake cookie recipe might just be for you. And the best part is, it only requires five ingredients that you probably already have at home.

If you’re looking for an easier and quicker snack, this Oreo mug cake is perfect for your sweet tooth cravings. With just a pack of Oreos and milk, you can have a mug cake already! You can even top it off with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream if you don’t mind the added sugar.

Greek yogurt to make brownies — it’s an odd ingredient for something so sweet but it’s the healthier version. Also, we’re not sure if it’s really just 37 calories per slice but if it says it’s “healthy” then where are my ingredients? I’m making it ASAP.

There has been a number of pie recipes that was popularized during this quarantine — from homemade Jollibee’s tuna pie to this simple Nutella pocket recipe. Simply put, it’s basically just toasted bread with choco-hazelnut spread but in this house, we’re extra like that. Also, you can try different fillings for the pockets like jams and marmalade. Or go for a savory one; go crazy!
