Just when we were starting to get used to the idea that the world may really be made of cake, the internet just goes ahead and gave us more reasons to lose our trust in our senses. The world is full of weird things (and people) but these fake foods are on another level. They’re too deceiving!!! Check out some of the best ones we found, which may or may not give you more trust issues:

Remember when checkpoints used to be for inspecting cars and checking licenses? Well, the new checkpoints now are to make sure we’re not cake nor candle. But which one are you?
Imagine looking forward to a Friday night because you can finally binge-watch movies and shows. And it’s totally valid to be a couch potato with a bag of chips and maybe some alcohol. But when you reach into the bag of chips, you touch something waxy instead of the rough salty goodness. These aren’t chips, they’re SOAP. Gusto kong magsabi ng mga masasamang words.
Now, this is something truly revolting for coffee lovers. A cup of cinnamon coffee — look at that milk froth! But alas, it’s actually soap. Sigh.
Nothing beats the feeling of biting into a cold ice cream sandwich on a hot day. The sweet vanilla ice cream mixed with the chocolatey biscuit is a combination to die for. But this one might make your mouth bubble though, it’s made of (you guessed it) soap.
Don’t be fooled – these crispy-looking chicken nuggets are also made of soap. When will this madness end?!
A plate of French toast with vanilla ice cream is always good, but I don’t think eating this one will make you feel good at all. But maybe smelling it will — it’s actually a candle!
The next time you’re making your favorite smoothie bowl, check your ingredients! Because you might end up breaking your blender or food processor as this is made of clay. Ground rocks for breakfast, how’s that?
Iced gem biscuits are one Pinoy snack we probably all enjoyed as a child and there are two types of people who eat it. One eats all the biscuits first and saves the small meringue on top for later, while the other just savagely eat both in one bite. Which one was you? These biscuits are usually soft, especially when you leave them melting in your mouth, but the photo above won’t probably melt even after a week. It’s made of clay!!!
