Getting your own space and moving out of your parent’s house is a giant leap into this crazy thing they call adulting. You’re finally ready to make your way into the world alone and it’s exciting. But during the first few months reality will catch up and you’ll realize living alone is not as rainbows-and-butterflies as it might have seemed. For starters, it’s financially draining if you’re not prepared for the rental fees, bills, and overall cost of living. Aesthetically, you might also find that it takes a ton of effort (and money) to make your nook look similar to those Pinterest boards you saved on your phone. But there’s no rush!
