It’s been a long wait for Wanderland Music and Arts Festival, especially for its loyal followers who have always been part of the annual pilgrimage. After a three-year break due to the pandemic, the festival is finally coming back in full force, bringing an incredible lineup of performers from around the world. It’s an understatement to say that we’re excited. In case you’re still on the fence, here are 8 reasons why you shouldn’t miss Wanderland’s comeback.
What better way to make a comeback than at Wanderland: The Comeback? Staying true to its reputation of bringing the most epic festival headliners, Wanderland will be these amazing acts to headline this year’s edition:
This is your chance to hear Carly Rae Jepsen perform her new songs from her 2022 album The Loneliest Time for the first time. Jepsen broke out into the mainstream with her 2012 smash hit “Call Me Maybe”, and has since established herself as a modern pop genius with her 2015 ’80s-inspired album E.MO.TION and the ’70s-influenced Dedicated (2019). If you’re not a die-hard fan yet, we guarantee that Wanderland will make you really really really really like her sound.
Known for hits like “Tonight” (feat. Ezra Koenig) and “Lisztomania”, French pop-rock band Phoenix is taking their synth pop sound to the Wanderland as one of the festival’s headliners. Be prepared to rock out and dance to their infectious beats. The French quartet is sure to get the crowd up on their feet, with nostalgic sing-a-longs and powerful guitar riffs.
International acts gracing the Wanderland stage include Raveena, who will finally play her first show in the Philippines! Raveena was one of the most anticipated acts in the then-canceled 2020 edition of Wanderland, so we’re excited to finally get to hear her live.
Making a return to the Wanderland stage is FKJ. French multi-instrumentalist Vincent Fenton (the man behind the moniker) makes music that defies genres, yet makes a light and easy listening experience. The best way to experience his music? Live, of course.
2000s legend Dashboard Confessional will bring the feels in the most nostalgic way, so be prepared to sing along to Chris Carraba’s iconic hits. Look out for Canadian indie band Men I Trust and their “dream pop” sound, as well as the soulful stylings of singer-songwriter Stephen Day.
Wanderland continues to uplift Asian acts to world-class festival stages, with Taiwan’s Sunset Rollercoaster and Leo Wang, Bangkok-based duo HYBS, and South Korea’s George and Balming Tiger bringing their vibes to Manila.
Then, of course, Wanderers can look forward to seeing their favorite local acts live — as well as discover new talent. From Rico Blanco and Ylona Garcia to August Wahh and The Ridleys, there’s definitely something for everyone.

Visual art plays a huge part in the Wanderland tradition, and this year is no exception. This year, Wanderland raises the bar with their Wanderartists: Alaga, Amiel Rivera, Faith De Leos, and Wika Nadera, who will all be performing live art at the festival. Expect to witness these Wanderartists’ creations bring life, color, and creativity to the festival grounds.
Get your game faces ready, because Wanderland: The Comeback will be taking on the theme of sports and athletics (the original theme for the postponed 2020 edition). We’re raring to see what the team has in store for Wanderers!
Wanderland Music and Arts Festival will be returning on March 4 & 5, 2023 at the Filinvest City Events Grounds, Alabang.
