Haven’t had your dose of vitamin sea yet? Making summertime beach outing plans is all fun and games until it’s time to figure out how to get there. For those who don’t want to drive to Batangas and just enjoy the ride, a new commute option is now available with this new P2P route that will take you from the metro straight to the southern province. Check it out:

Alabang to Batangas P2P Route

While there are already existing P2P bus routes from Alabang to Batangas, bus company RRCG Transport announced on Facebook a new route: daily trips from Starmall Alabang to Batangas City Pier and Batangas Grand Terminal, and vice versa via Calabarzon or Star Tollway.

P2P Route Schedule

The first trips start at 5:00 AM and the last trip is at 7:00 PM, with a bus departing every 45 minutes.

How much is the fare?

The new route has two destination options in Batangas:

• Starmall Alabang to Batangas Grand Terminal – PHP 195
• Starmall Alabang to Batangas City Pier – PHP 214

A 20% discount applies to PWDs, Seniors, and Students.

Beaches near the Batangas drop-off points

There’s no wonder why Batangas is a favorite beach destination for many, as there are now wider commute options for weekend wanderers. Here are some beaches you can visit, depending on your drop-off point:

Batangas Grand Terminal

• Anilao, Mabini for diving spots
• Isla Verde
• Masasa Beach
• Lobo, Batangas
• Ligpo Island in Bauan

Batangas City Pier

• White Beach, Puerto Galera
• Sabang Beach

To get to Puerto Galera, you have to ride a Fast Craft to Balatero Port. Fare starts at P425 with a travel time of approximately two hours.
