She is the first Filipino to win a Junior Grand Slam singles title (2022) and the only one to win multiple Junior Grand Slam doubles championships (2020, 2021). Alex is also the youngest Filipino to win an International Tennis Federation pro singles title, which she bagged when she was 14 years old.

All these achievements have given her the highest rank for any Filipino player in pro circuit history. Now 17, Alex stands at the front lines of a generation bold enough to claim greatness and create their own identity.

Alex eats, sleeps, and breathes tennis – it’s no wonder she has managed to bag prestigious awards. But being part of a generation that’s game for anything also has ups and downs. Alex also has to face losses along with the wins but she never lets these bring her down.
