All the Compelling Fan Theories about the Upcoming LizQuen Film, “Alone/Together”

An idealistic Iska with a supportive Thomasian boyfriend. That’s all the plot we gleaned out of the newest film starring Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil (LizQuen) Alone/Together. It definitely triggered a lot of nostalgic memories (especially if you’re from UP), hitting a million views after just a few hours after its release last Saturday. The video portrays the happy relationship of Raf and Tin, with the former being a caring partner to his achiever girlfriend. It was all rainbows and butterflies as they support each other in their studies, until the second half of the video showed a scene years later, where they went back to their favorite spot in UP. The scene was the exact opposite of the first half: Tin was seen crying, and Raf’s face is full of regret—obviously showing that their relationship didn’t work out. The question is, “What happened?”

Perhaps the most common theory of all, Tin wearing black; Tin was crying, while Raf is totally out of words. They met up at their usual place where Tin is seen looking away, haunted by the memories. What if Raf is just a hallucination? A ghost from the past?
They broke up because they’re completely opposite
Privileged boy meets hardworking gal and learns the importance of education, etc. They fall in love, they break up kasi:

Perhaps its two opposite worlds colliding, and they’re bound to break from the start.
They chose their dreams over their relationship
Coming from top schools, the two must have been too caught up in following their dreams and that they lost faith in their relationship.
Tin failed at life

Tin has it all: the looks, the brains, a planned future, and even a boyfriend on top of all these things. Her life seemed to be perfect, until the real world hits her hard and she’s not used to not getting what she wants. So she sacrificed a lot to reach her dreams—even her almost-perfect romantic relationship.

Raf became more successful than Tin, thus the conflict
Raf does a 180, maybe in part dahil kay Tin at sa optimism niya (or dahil sa breakup nila? May gustong patunayan?). He finally dares to dream beyond himself, finds his purpose & eventually works hard towards that. Successful na nga, may ambag pa sa society.#AloneTogetherTeaser

One can tell from the trailer that Tin has a great future ahead of her. But what if Raf became more successful and it has become a threat to the hardworking Tin?
