The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was quite a blast. solid acting from Andrew Garfield (Peter Parker/Spider-Man), the visual accessibility of Marc Webb’s directing style, and a well-oiled Hollywood production machine more than make up for the movie’s inconsistent pacing. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 will be a treat for fans of action movies and comic books in general. It will even appeal to audiences who value character development, especially when related to love.
Like most modern stories, Spider-Man 2 was designed first to entertain, not preach. It’s definitely not a magnum opus meant to uplift humanity and leave people thinking as they leave the theater. However, there are life lessons to be learned from this film. Even better, sharing them with you doesn’t require spoiling anything about the plot.

  8. If You Have Something Really Important to Do…

…You should do it right away, way before you end up in dangerous life-threatening situations that make getting things done much much harder.

  7. It’s Important to Value Yourself

That’s because if your happiness is dependent on someone else, you’ll just end up disappointed. True happiness comes from within, and that’s only possible when you (and you alone) have a healthy sense of self-worth

  6. Love Hurts

It makes you so happy, but love also can create so much hurt. Still, to paraphrase that old Tennyson poem: it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all. The happiness true, reciprocal love makes possible will always outweigh whatever problems and sorrow it creates.

  5. Desperation Clouds Judgment

When we want something real bad, we tend to pursue it to the detriment of everything else. That’s true even if what we want may not be the best for us—or for the people we care about!

  4. Two Heads are Better Than One

When facing problems of any kind, working with others is the way to go. Other people may have their own take on a situation, and different perspectives often times yields solutions you might have overlooked.

  3. You Can’t Win Them All

You think you can plan for everything, and win in all situations (or at least, emerge in a better position). Though no matter how good you are, no matter how talented you are, and no matter how hard you try, you will fail sometimes. It’s how we recover from setbacks that define who we are.

  2. All Good Things Come to an End

It’s best to cherish the happy things in life, because you’ll never know when it will all be over. A lot of people also know this life lesson as “Never Take Anything for Granted” and “You Don’t Know What You’ve Got ‘Til It’s Gone”.

  1. If You’re a Parent With a Young Kid…

…Never EVER take your eyes off him or her! If you have to look elsewhere, hold your kids hand. It’s as simple as that.
