Unprovoked basher

After getting home from France late at night last Saturday, Anne Curtis took to Twitter to share her jet lag woes. She was simply asking her followers “Are peeps still awake at this hour?” when a netizen suddenly accused her of being “papansin.”

“Medyo papansin tong big lips na to. Kulang nalang ipa surgeon mo yang bunganga,” the anonymous netizen wrote. The netizen even created a poll asking whether the It’s Showtime host has big lips, seemingly looking for other bashers.

Unbothered Anne

Despite the tweet catching her attention, Anne didn’t let the comment bother her. Instead, she even retorted confidently, taking pride in her natural-born looks. “Hindi ko kailangan ng surgeon or any doctor dahil I was born and blessed with these lips or Bunganga as you say,” the actress wrote with a kissy face emoji.

The anonymous netizen promptly locked their account.

Following Anne’s response, netizens flocked to her tweet to show their support for her, lamenting how “unprovoked” the anonymous netizen’s comment was. At least the netizen got noticed by a Diyosa, another mused.
