The inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as US president and vice president was certainly a big event that met a lot of fanfare, but neither of them captured the imagination of the meme world as much as US Senator Bernie Sanders did. His outfit at the inauguration, composed of a winter jacket, a blue face mask, and a pair of huge mittens, caught the attention of the internet and birthed an endless supply of edits that put the senator in all kinds of places, fictional or otherwise.

Apparently, Bernie Sanders got to hang out with Korean boy group BTS at a bus stop in South Korea. At least, according to the internet. Good thing Sanders was prepared with his winter jacket and cute mittens. The members of BTS look like they’re freezing their butts off.
