In a world saturated with so many brands, standing out requires more than just the usual marketing strategies like catchy slogans and TV commercials. Nowadays, brands have taken collaboration to new heights, and for 2024, we’ve seen some brand collaborations that we didn’t know we wanted but are so grateful to see. Here’s our top 8:
The McDonald’s x Crocs first-ever collab included a full line of shoes and Jibbitz charms inspired by iconic McDonald’s characters, namely: Grimace, Birdie, and Hamburglar. Each of these characters came with Jibbitz designed with their favorite menu item, including a shake, an Egg McMuffin, and a hamburger. If you’re not into any of these characters, there are also Crocs Classic Clog in the distinct McDonald’s red and yellow that can be paired with Chicken McNuggets, World Famous Fries and Big Mac Jibbitz.

In line with the movie’s promotion, Wicked collaborated with so many brands that it gets hard to keep track. But the Starbucks x Wicked Collection has left a lasting impression thanks to its gorgeous designs. It features two handcrafted beverages inspired by the beloved duo of Glinda and Elphaba, as well as 6 drinkware designs that displays a touch of Oz’s iconic charm.
Here’s a collaboration that feels like a joke but isn’t and is surprisingly interestingly GOOD. When Oreo and Coca-Cola announced that they were collaborating, most people were skeptical, but we’ve seen a lot of truthers and converts who now swear by the Oreo x Coca-Cola cookies and drink.
Hello Kitty turned 50 this year; hence, you’ve seen a lot of Hello Kitty x everything, ranging from clothes and accessories to home goods and food and beverages. But our favorite is probably still the adorable Hello Kitty x Starbucks collection released a few months ago. On top of two Hello Kitty-themed handcrafted beverages (Apple Pie Cream Frappuccino and Red Apple Frozen Tea), the collection included 7 different designs of drinkware and 5 lifestyle accessories, which were all sold out so quickly thanks to all the Pinoy Sanrio fans.
In this unexpected collaboration, 7-Eleven turned their stores into PokéStops for Pokémon GO trainers and decked out their stores in full Pokémon gear. On top of these, they also crafted Pokémon-themed packaging featuring the most popular Pokémon, from Bulbasaur to Umbreon. And collectors of Pokémon Trading Card were able to find booster packs in 7-Eleven branches, and they even get a a bonus of a limited edition Pokémon TCG promo card that features a 7-Eleven logo!
What if your makeup was packaged in the cutest characters ever? That’s what the Inside Out 2 x BYS Cosmetics collaboration is all about, with the iconic emotions matched up with the ever-reliable makeup products of BYS.
We heard the anik-anik squad squeal when this collaboration was announced. Sonny Angel Hippers, which are usually attached to items like mobile phones, is a perfect pair with this collaboration with CASETiFY. It’s actually inspired by the playful Sonny Angel HIPPERS Harvest series
