Seeing the trio in top form is refreshing and makes football fun to watch again. The trio has 32 goals between them this season with Neymar topping the La Liga scoring charts with 14 goals in 15 games.

Holly Holm shocked the world when she dismantled crowd favorite Ronda Rousey in a masterclass striking clinic that made the former champion look foolish.

Holly was a well decorated and respected championship boxer before shifting to mixed martial arts. Many wondered whether Holly would be able to survive against opponents that had more tools to win, but she surprised them all. 2015 was definitely Holly’s year after attaining the gold in UFC 193. She is the first ever fighter to win Gold in both the UFC and professional boxing.

2015 has been Steph’s best year career-wise. He won the NBA championship and was crowned the season’s MVP. The NBA has never seen a shooter like him, and his greatness continues to manifest in the 2015-16 season with the Golden State Warriors winning 24 games straight before falling short to the Milwaukee Bucks. At 27, many more great things can be expected from Curry.

Conor McGregor sealed his prophecies in UFC 194 when he knocked out the seemingly undefeatable Jose Aldo in a mere 13 seconds. The fight was recorded as the fastest ever finish in a title fight in UFC history. McGregor is 7-0 in the UFC with all but one of his fights being finishes. He is undoubtedly UFC’s most prize fighter and has elevated the game to a different level. McGregor beating Aldo signified the passing of the guard from the old to the new generation of mixed martial arts.
