The Christmas season in the Philippines is a months-long affair. Pinoys gear up for the holidays as early as September and festivities end in January of the next year – we just can’t get enough of the holiday cheer! If you have nothing planned for the holidays yet, bring your family or partner to admire these Christmas lights installations and shows this 2022:
Location: Ayala Triangle Gardens, Makati City
It’s not Christmas season without seeing Ayala Avenue light up in a thousand lights. After two years of only online shows, the iconic Festival of Lights show at Ayala Triangle Gardens returns to its real-life festivities. Visitors can catch three shows: a Christmas chorale by Manila Symphony Orchestra, another by Pembo Elementary School Children’s Choir, and a Tiktok Christmas medley comprising famous songs from the social media app. From November 10, 2022 to January 2023, you can catch the light show from 6 PM to 10 PM. Ready your poses and make the dreamy lights your background!

Location: Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna
Southies, there’s no need to go to the metro to enjoy a light show! Nuvali’s famous Fountain of Lights also returns its IRL show this year. You can admire displays of The Night Sky, the Rich Biodiversity of the Philippines, and Sayawan ng Parol. Catch the free fountain show every Friday to Sunday from 6 PM to 9 PM until January 8, 2023.
