On the opposite side of the energy spectrum is this little game. You’ll need a box, a makeshift belt, and some Christmas ball ornaments for this to work. You can start with two players who have to tie the box filled with the ornaments to their waist and move around to remove as many balls as they can. It’s time to find out who has the toughest lungs in your group. Place a row of candles on the table and assign prizes for each. It could be money, a treat, or a punishment. The players will have to blow through all the candles in one breath in order to win the grand prize. This might just be one of the best Christmas party games of the night. Although you have to keep in mind that this challenge is not the best game in the middle of the pandemic what with blowing droplets in the air and all. Thank Korean variety shows that give us awesome ideas for party games! Although this flour pass game is a bit messy, we’re sure the young ‘uns in your group will love it. It’s played by a group of people sitting (or standing) in a row, blindfolded. The first person gets handed a plate full of flour which they have to pour overhead on the plate of the person behind them. It’s going to be a hilarious turn of events because a player is bound to mess up and pour flour on someone else’s head.

It feels right capping the year off with a great game of Red Light, Green Light. Especially since Squid Game broke records this year and was the most-searched Kdrama and TV series on Google. You should know how this game goes by now. In case you didn’t, you have to assign a leader and place them on the opposite side of the room from the players. When the leader’s back is turned, players can move. When the leader looks back, they have to freeze. Whoever gets caught moving will have to take a shot or be creative about the punishment. It ends when one of the players successfully taps the leader.

Christmas is a time for what Filipinos call aguinaldo which, in some countries, means 13th-month pay, but for Pinoys, it means monetary gift. Handing aguinaldo over in a red envelope? Boring.
