Elmer was a warrior on the operating table. He went through the procedure and emerged victorious. After the procedure was a different story. The pain and throbbing from the healing process made him very uncomfortable so his mother decided to prescribe him the best medicine possible: popsicles. As Elmer ate his well-deserved popsicle, his brother decided to steal it from him, prompting Elmer to get stressed to the point of his wiener bleeding all over again. For the love of God, don’t steal a man’s popsicle when he’s just made it through a rite of passage.
PJ was the only boy in his varsity team that wasn’t circumcised. This prompted the other boys to make fun of his other-worldly looking member, to the point of bullying. PJ could not take the embarrassment so like a true soldier, he went up to his parents and asked them to have him circumcised. Now, you could definitely say that this was a case that peer pressure actually worked out for PJ. Okay, it was mean but hey, at least they weren’t pressuring him to do drugs!
What was supposed to be a 15 minute procedure turned into hours. The child came out of the OR crying, to the dismay of the mother. It was only when she got home that she realized that her child was bleeding profusely. She called the doctor, who first reported the child was bleeding more than the usual due to a deficiency in vitamin K. It was only later on that the mother found out that it was the first time the doctor had used the plastibell method, making the child more of a test subject than a patient. The mother was kind enough to let the issue pass and did not press charges. Joey’s penis is fine and dandy today, so there’s no need to worry.
Marco lived in a barangay that offered circumcision services every so often. Marco was traumatized by the stories his friends would tell him about how circumcisions would pan out. His family, being traditional, decided that nine years old was the best time for him to become a “man.” He proved to be a master of elusion and procrastination at a young age. The first time his mom took him to the barangay-sponsored circumcision service, she had let go of his arm and poof–he was gone. This happened two more times, until his mom got the better of him and actually got him to go through with the procedure three whole years later.
