Sam Milby’s iconic line, “I never said that I love you” has definitely shattered many viewers’ hearts as much as he broke Celine’s (Anne Curtis’ character). The show has become such a phenomenal hit that it had a sequel a year after, with Toni Gonzaga, Angelica Panganiban and Derek Ramsay joining the main cast. It’s got us to a rollercoaster ride of emotions, and we definitely miss the ups and downs.

3. Majika

Aired on GMA (March-September 2006)
Starring: Angel Locsin, Dennis Trillo, Katrina Halili

Undoubtedly one of GMA’s most successful fantasy shows, Majika has been a childhood fave of most millennials tuning in their Telebabad lineup. For half a year, we joined Sabina (Angel Locsin) in the magical and twisted world of Saladin and we’ll do anything to take it back.

Ah, KimErald’s golden days. Who misses their cheesy call signs, “Bokbok” and “Poknat”? This story of star-crossed lovers trying to defy destiny has also been recognized internationally, as it was aired in Taiwan a year after its Philippine premiere. Sana ulitin nila muli.

Starring: Kaye Abad, John Lloyd Cruz, Paula Peralejo, Patrick Garcia, Jodi Sta. Maria, Desiree del Valle and Paolo Contis

Dubbed as the Pinoy version of Dawson’s Creek, Tabing Ilog is an icon of Pinoy pop culture and an all-time favorite of the Y Generation. A lot of notable pairs emerged from this show, and was considered as John Lloyd Cruz’ moment when he skyrocketed to fame. This teen-oriented drama chronicles the lives of a close-knit gang of friends and how they deal with teenage life. It aired every Sunday for four years, and has since resonated with others as the barkada peg to emulate. While we loved their reunion last year, we’d like to plead for an original cast reunion, even if just for an MMK episode. *nostalgically plays Tabing Ilog soundtrack*
