If you’ve survived the ~great war~ and secured your ticket to The Eras Tour, booked your flight to wherever you’re seeing Taylor Swift live in concert, and made your hotel reservation, you pretty much know what comes next on your to-do list—it’s time to plan your #OOTD!
With so many fashionable moments in every Taylor Swift era to choose from, there’s an endless stream of inspo for concert outfits you can rock on D-day. But if you’re a crafty cookie like T-Swizzle herself, consider going the DIY route, and knit or crochet a special piece for that personal touch.
Here, we rounded up a list of Taylor Swift-inspired crochet and knit projects that you can start making now:
Via Lion Brand
Not only does this cardigan pattern from 145-year-old yarn company Lion Brand work up easily, but it is also free for download! While you can opt to purchase a kit with all the materials included, it shouldn’t be too hard to find alternatives being sold at local yarn shops.
Can’t knit? No worries! You can still make a crocheted version of the well-loved “Folklore” Cardigan by following this YouTube tutorial from Crochet by Bev.
*Tip-off: If you’re catching the concert in wintry Tokyo, using acrylic yarn, just like what was used in the video, is a good idea since it’s perfect for keeping you warm. But, if you are attending the show in Singapore or in Australia, where it’s hot in the months of February and March, it’s better to use cotton yarn, which can be really light and breezy.
Because we can’t get enough of Taylor’s cardigans, here’s another crochet pattern by Alysha Autumn, who found inspiration from the “RED” Cardigan. You can also modify some details of this pattern to make another version of the “Folklore” Cardigan.
Like Tay Tay’s tank top in the “Lavender Haze” music video? Well, it’s currently sold out on the official website of Mother Denim, but the good news is if you can crochet, then you can simply recreate the top yourself! This tutorial video from Dami SJ walks you through the process.
This tutorial video from Studio Knit simplifies the process of making the famous “All Too Well” scarf by alternating knit and purl stitches to achieve a texture that is strikingly close to that of the original.

Even the most seasoned crocheters can find tapestry crochet daunting, but if the project is as pretty as this “Midnights” Tote Bag by Elaine of @ican_knot on Instagram, you’ll be up to the challenge!

We know… we know. You probably won’t have the time (or focus) to read a book on concert day, but hear us out on this one, okay? You can actually turn this pattern into a tote bag! Also by @ican_knot, this tapestry crochet project would be a *gorgeous* addition to your WIPs.
Via Stitchberry
Regardless of the season, a fashionable hat like what Blondie wore on the album cover of RED (Taylor’s Version) makes for an excellent accessory to complete your look! Check out this easy-to-follow newsboy cap pattern from Stitchberry that makes use of basic stitches.
