As per the Indian Journal of Orthopaedics, ring avulsion injuries are rare but serious and can range from simple contusions to injuries requiring complete amputation. The condition shot to fame after Jimmy Fallon took a two week break from his show and explained what lead to his absence, with people searching what ring avulsion was. They haven’t been the same since. Think twice before you wear a ring all the time.
3. Brown Recluse Spider Bite

Further proof that spiders are Satan’s spawn, Brown Recluse Spiders are one of the most venomous spiders in North America. They are known to rarely demonstrate aggressive behavior and only bite humans when they are pressed against one’s skin. Their bite may not be immediately painful, but can cause necrosis and produce severe injury. Common symptoms include nausea, vomiting, rashes, fever and joint pain.
