Of course, an Olivia Pope comes with an extra package: her team of gladiators, all handed on a silver platter. While having a crisis manager is a very good idea, a group of associates will consider all issues are handled, and will get the job done whatever it takes (though we might have to rethink the tampering of evidence part).
And while fixing a powerful image that is Duterte in this very modern world, you never know when a Huck (keyword: hack) might come in handy.
After shaking everything up with the media recently, Duterte still needs them, whether he likes it or not. The media is a pillar of our state, and they’re people the masses choose to trust.
He needs to suck it up and accept his own mistakes. After all, he has them to thank for the massive publicity. If he’s so grateful to his campaign contributors for his win, shouldn’t he also thank the media as they faithfully released story after story about him day after day?
And while he’s at it, Duterte could use a lot of help from someone with extensive media connections to convey his messages the right way. He doesn’t have to like them; he just needs to make them like him. And it’s one tough job but it’s nothing an Olivia Pope can’t fix.

While Duterte’s vigilante style has earned him both respect and criticism, he needs a representative who’s a little more flexible.
He needs a humane face, a face that will relate to both the underdog and the upper class, a face that will launch a thousand ships. Because admit it, representing the president needs a master of all trades.

Digong is not your typical president. In fact, some would even consider him a pain in the ass. His unconventional personality needs copious amounts of patience, and he could use someone who will have faith in him—whatever happens. He may be a hard person to put up with, but believing in him would help him be the best version of himself.
And as every Filipino would say…
