Following the footsteps of Lapillus’ Chanty and Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza, another Filipina is ready to make waves in the world of K-pop. Elisia Parmisano has been confirmed as the first member in the final group of survival show Universe Ticket. The show features singer and actress Kim Se-jeong, singer Younha, and singer and record producer Adora as judges. Elisia was able to lock in her spot after moving up to the highest level in the survival show. Thus far, she is the only one confirmed to debut, so while we wait for the rest of her members, let’s get to know this new Filipina K-pop idol:

She’s only 14 years old

She was born on 18 April 2009, which makes her an Aries! Her complete name is Elisia Lyrisse Parmisano, though family and friends call her Ellie or Sia.

She’s an INTP

According to her Universe Ticket profile, she’s an INTP, which is a Logician personality type with the traits Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Prospecting. INTPs like experimenting, and they often have unconventional perspectives due to their ever-burning curiosity.

She was starting her acting career in the PH

In the Philippines, she was training under Star Magic. She took up minor roles as a child, even getting acquainted with actresses Regine Velasquez and Marian Rivera, who congratulated her on her upcoming debut.

She took up taekwondo

Four years ago, Elisia took up taekwondo, even sharing a mini vlog on how she gained her yellow belt.

She’s cousins with a member of HORI7ON

She maintains a close relationship with her cousin Marcus of all-Filipino boy group HORI7ON. Elisia even calls him her “twin cousin.”

She hopes to be a main vocal or a visual

According to her profile, she hopes to be the main vocal or the visual of the group. We think she can take both positions with her skills and looks — just watch her audition clip!

She has a love for the visual arts

Aside from singing, dancing, and playing instruments, Elisia said she wants to master graphic design. She also said that if she can only keep three things with her, she’d choose her family, her friends, and her sketchbook.

She’s debuting as part of PRISM

She’s the first one to secure a spot in the eight-member girl group PRISM. The group will debut under the entertainment company F&F.

Other Filipina hopefuls in the survival show are Gehlee Dangca and Filipino-Korean Jin Hyeon-ju.
