“So I had some severe digestive problems that made me and my mom rush to the hospital. A PUBLIC HOSPITAL. It was dirty and sketchy and a place where you really wouldn’t want to go even if you’re dying. But I didn’t have a choice, my stomach and booty didn’t have the luxury to be picky at that time.
So the sketchy doctor led me to the sketchy hospital’s sketchy room where my booty had to be checked. When the doctor (who’s a guy, by the way) was about to check me out, I gave my mom the please-mom-don’t-let-this-man-do-things-to-my-bumbum look to tell her that I am not going to let this shit happen whatsoever.
My genius mom then told the doctor without any hesitation, ‘Ay, ‘wag na lang po pala virgin pa yung anak ko eh!’

“My mom’s lady parts had to get an intravaginal ultrasound where they put a stick-like device into her lady part to check her uterus. She was nervous because it was her first time to have that thing inside her. The doctor then put a condom on the device (for sanitary purposes). Again, my mother was hella nervous, so to get her to her calm down, the doctor said, “Oh, mommy parang si daddy lang po ito ah!”
Read that again, and imagine that said to a grown woman in a baby voice.”
