Those who are less exposed to natural light during the day are more likely to have a hard time sleeping come night time. Quit saying no or “sunod ako” to your office mates’ (appropriately-timed) lunch invites. You might hurt their feelings and more importantly, get fat in the process. Skipping meals, especially breakfast, slows down metabolism, amplifies hunger and primes the body to be on fat-storage mode.

Pat yourself on the back for hustling on your lunch break to get back to work as soon as possible. However, tame that “determination” in the name of your health. When you eat too fast, you won’t notice your body’s signals that it’s already full, which makes you prone to overeating.

The later you stay at the office, the later your dinner will be and the closer it will be to your bedtime. That’s definitely a no-no because you’re not giving your body enough time to burn calories before dozing off. Avoid going over-time as much as possible. Instead, go to work early and manage your time well.
