Learning a new language is always a great idea but classes don’t come cheap. It’s a good thing there are awesome human beings with a heart for helping educate others at no cost! Native Korean teacher Joshua Cho is one of them. He has already opened a handful of free Korean classes in the past and this 2023, he’s starting the new year by opening doors for a new batch of students. Here’s how you can sign up for a free Korean class.
Korean Class with Joshua Cho Batch 9 is currently open for registration. The classes will be held every Saturday at 7 PM starting January 14 via YouTube Live. Only Filipinos are allowed to sign up. Each batch will go through a three-month full Korean language course with Cho. He even provides his students with free reviewers, PDF books, assignments and activities, and more.
To register, fill out this Google form.
Cho does not only teach the Korean language to his students. His lessons also include the history, culture, and traditions of Korea. Aside from Hangeul, you’ll learn about what Chuseok is, what’s inside Korean convenience stores, and Korean everyday slang. In fact, if you check out his YouTube channel, you’ll even get to watch his past lessons plus other short videos useful to Hangeul learners.
Signing up for a free Korean language class is awesome to truly learn the language, you have to immerse yourself in it. Download language learning apps on your phone like Duolingo, Lingodeer, and Memrise. These apps feel like you’re playing a game while learning. You can also check out apps like Drops and Lingodeer Plus for daily exercises.
So if you want to do something new this year, this is your sign to sign up for Joshua Cho’s class. Who knows, maybe by 2024 you can watch K-drama without subtitles.
