Tired of sending your kids to the same old summer workshops year after year? Are they ready to try something new? Check out the following summer activities to keep your young’uns occupied! Who knows, you might get inspired and pick up a new hobby as well!
What: THE ARCHERY ACADEMY MANILA
When: MWF, 2 hours per session
Where: The Archery Academy Manila, 4th Floor, Intrawest Center, Crossfit, Greenhills, #33 Annapolis St., Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila
Cost: Php8,500 for 8 meetings for new students and P6,500 for returning ones
The fee for beginners includes their own string, arm guard, finger tab and a shirt, which they can use for the rest of their sessions. Note the age requirement: your kids must be at least nine years old to join.
What: The Learning Library’s summer program that aids in developing excellence in reading and confidence in Filipino

What: Cambridge School’s I.M. PEIs Little Architects and Engineers workshop, open to Cambridge and non-Cambridge students
When: Summer long sessions, two hours each, from Monday to Friday, 1:30PM – 3:30PM
Where: Las Pinas, Alabang, and Bonifacio High Street
Cost: Las Pinas Campus – PHP20,000.00; Alabang – PHP22,500.00; Bonifacio High Street – PHP25,000.00
The class registration fee includes a complete course kit, certificate of completion, and your child’s amazing creation/end product. The workshop is open for kids aged 2.6 -12 years old.
What: Power Mac’s 8th “Imagination through Technology” Summer Program
When: First batch starts in the third week of April until the first week of May. The second batch starts in the second week of May and ends in the third week.
Where: Power Mac Center TriNoma for the first batch, Power Mac Center Greenbelt 3 for the second batch
Cost: Php6,000.00 full course/Php3,500.00 half course.

When: April and May 2015
Where: Alabang, Binondo, and Makati
Cost: P5,000
Kids seven to 12 years old can learn to create their own digital illustrations, layout digital interactive books, create and edit videos or movies, and make simple games and cartoon animations. What: Sew Easy’s Little Sewing Camps for Kids
When: One hour per day for five days
Where: Sew Easy Sewing Studio, Unit 11, 2nd Floor D Square Building, 295 Aguirre Avenue corner F. Cruz Street, BF Homes, Parañaque City
Cost: Little Sewing Camps (for ages 7-10 years old) is PHP4,150 and Kids Sewing Camps (for ages 11-16) is PHP8,499

What: Introduction to Saber Fencing

What: Philippine Surfing Academy’s Grom Camp Surf Camp For Kids
When: April 12, 19, 26 and May 10, 17, 24 and 31
Where: Club Manila East,Taytay, Rizal
Cost: PHP7,800
Give your kids the gift of confidence in the water, and learn surfing basics while their at it. The class is open to kids between five and 13 years old.
