Now that we’re on quarantine, we’ve shifted to remote work and school schedules. Most classes and meetings are done online, specifically via video calls. If there are two things that must be maintained during these calls, it’s being professional and formal. However, maybe because we’re doing it at home, some have gotten way too comfortable even during calls. Here are some funny video call moments that will make you become cautious the next time you’re on a call:
my boss turned herself into a potato on our Microsoft teams meeting and can’t figure out how to turn the setting off, so she was just stuck like this the entire meeting pic.twitter.com/uHLgJUOsXk

Many video call platforms let you have fun with the platform by applying filters and using custom backgrounds. However, how can you handle a serious meeting when you’re chatting with a potato? Sure, this quarantine has made us all couch potatoes, but we don’t have to take that too literally.

The quarantine can be bearable when you’re stuck when your best friend or partner. Especially when you’ve become comfortable with each other, you can just yell lyrics to your favorite song. Honestly, this guy must marry Jenny already.
These Malaysian podcasters went live with a special guest: their mom. And towards the end, they encountered something we can all relate with: their mom struggling to end a video call. Be honest, our moms were like this at some point, yelling, “anak pa’no ba to!!!”.
Our not-so-inner skeptic is telling us that this guy seems to be performing for the camera, but this does look like an actual online class. Maybe he’s just really passionate about learning?
Though this one isn’t a video call, it highlights the importance of turning off your mic, especially when you’re off to do your business in the bathroom.
Things that spark joy: that satisfying feeling of relief after finishing a long meeting. Just make sure that when you end your call, you hang up properly. Or at the very least, turn off your camera to avoid revealing your quarantine OOTD! Props to this dude’s colleagues though for being upfront with him.
Because your colleagues or clients will never really see the party below. I think we’re all guilty of this! What they don’t see won’t hurt ’em, righht?

The next time you want to confidently walk around the house in your underpants, make sure you won’t have an unexpected cameo in a family member’s call! Learn to knock, or just wear something next time.
This Zoom call is the funniest one yet. Poor Jennifer, she must’ve needed that bathroom break but being the good employee she is, she didn’t want to miss out on important meeting details. Again, remember to turn off your camera next time!
Companies have found a way to make corporate meetings fun. Yes, you can invite a llama or a goat for a cameo! Goat 2 Meeting is an initiative by Sweet Farm, an animal sanctuary in California. For a fee, you can invite a llama or other farm animals to your meeting while raising funds for them!
