Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla finally confirmed their breakup after the rumor mill went into overdrive speculating about their status. In a statement, Kathryn said her 11 years with Daniel brought her “joy, adventure, and the feeling of being home.” She also clarified that it was an amicable split, a relationship that “ended with respect.”

“Deej, you gave me 11 beautiful years and the kind of love that I will forever cherish. I will always be grateful for you,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Daniel also posted his statement, thanking Kathryn for being a reliable partner of 11 years. “Bal, ang pagmamahal ko sayo ay walang hanggan at walang katapusan,” he said.

Understandably, the whole country is upset. This is a love team everyone saw grow up — from getting paired for the first time in the 2011 teen drama Growing Up to having their slew of romance-drama films that remain iconic to this day.
