If a mall food court could take steroids, beauty pills and all sorts of other supplements, the result would probably be Century City Mall’s Hole in the Wall. Its specialty stalls are distinct from each other and literally unlike any other outside the food hall. These culinary gems are nestled in a sprawling, beautifully-mismatched and welcoming interior, which is perfectly complemented by HITW’s very own attentive and swift waiters.
It was challenging to pick just 8 from HITW’s stalls, but someone’s gotta make the tough decisions. Make the most out of your visit to this awesome food hall by zooming in on these 8 fantastic stalls.
Sarsa’s renowned Chef JP Anglo takes the usual shawarma stall concept up a notch. Liberation Shawarma meat is seasoned with 28 exciting spices then accompanied by fresh vegetables and flavor-packed sauces. Your preferred filling is wrapped in a thick pita that won’t fail you by disintegrating into a hot shawarma mess. Enjoy your scrumptious wrap with equally tasty sides such as fried chickpeas in various flavors and beef shawarma fries.
If you’re looking for over the top burgers with unique sauces and outrageous toppings, then The Beef may not be for you. If you are, however, looking for classic, impeccably-done and made with the finest ingredients, then you’ll hit jackpot with this stall’s burgers. The Beef’s burgers are straightforward with USDA ground beef patties, vegetables, cheddar cheese and their secret sauce, all sandwiched between a brioche bun. Taste the fruits of The Beef’s motto that goes, if the hamburger ain’t broken, don’t fix it.
Satisfy all of your Vietnamese cravings with Phobobo’s fresh and flavorful offerings. They’re not only limited to the comforting bowl of Pho, Phobobo also serves three kinds of banh mi, fresh and fried spring rolls, ultra-flavorful grilled meats with noodles in peanut sauce and many other exciting dishes.
Posporo combines Mexican fare with Pinoy cuisine, and the result will throw a party in your mouth each time you sample its food. Look forward to well-loved Mexican structures like burritos, street tacos, rice plates and tostadas fantastically filled with Filipino viands. Posporo’s fillings are composed of familiar Filipino flavors executed with a twist. Just some examples are Sarsi adobo and Soyganisa.
All of Posporo’s dishes come in incredibly generous servings, too, so make sure to bring a hefty appetite.
Get your appetite ready for the outrageous and humongous creations of Mr. Delicious. Upon looking at their menu, your first impression may be muddled by their higher-priced sandwiches, but you’ll find that each order is indeed sulit when you’re served your order. You’d have to be a beast to finish one on your own plus you’ll enjoy high quality cured and smoked meats.
The crowd favorites are the Classic Corned Beef Reuben, Hot Pastrami on Rye and Gooey Grilled Cheese. Mr. Delicious’ offerings have also evolved into including soups, salads and all-day-breakfasts.
Garde Manger makes eating greens not only much easier, but actually something to look forward to. Their salad and wrap combinations are spectacular. How do adobo flakes, caramelized pili nuts and black rice with fresh vegetables sound? They also offer scrumptious seafood dishes like their Fruits of the Ocean ceviche starring prawns, scallops, squid and sea bass.
Make your refreshing meal complete, and get Garde Manger’s freshly-brewed juices. Don’t leave without taking home your picks from this stall’s healthy goodies like gluten-free dark chocolate brownies and muesli yoghurt Florentine.
