Will LDR work for Junwan and Iksun?

The relationship between Junwan and Iksun gave us some of the cutest moments of Hospital Playlist. And the couple was one of the few romantic relationships we actually saw flourish to the happy honeymoon stage. Junwan was even very supportive as she left to pursue further studies. Unfortunately, he wanted to show his devotion to her so much that he sent her an engagement ring, but he got the package back due to a “delivery issue.” Was it really though?

Plus, how will Kuya Ikjun react to this secret relationship? Will he try being strict and defend his sister’s honor or simply laugh it off as a joke as he always does?

Will Minha see Seokhyeong for dinner?

OB-GYN resident Minha went from being frustrated over her professor’s awkward and antisocial tendencies to pining over him and aggressively telling him she likes him. In S1’s final episode, Seokhyeong received a text from Minha inviting him for dinner. But it seems he already has plans. Or would he finally stop holding himself back?

How will Songhwa respond to Ikjun’s confession?

Ikjun didn’t pine over Songhwa, sure — the man was married and he has a kid, so we know he wasn’t a sadboi for over twenty years. But after the reveal of his crush on Songhwa when they were younger, we’re happy to see that Ikjun finally takes another chance and confesses his reignited feelings for Songhwa. But how will she respond? Does she actually return his feelings or is our superwoman neurosurgeon about to let another 99z member down?

Did Rosa-eomma really succeed with her plan?

Rosa is adamant that her youngest son should stay with her and not follow in the footsteps of his older siblings. And she enlists the help of blunt, awkward, yet trying Gyeowool to stop Jungwon from entering the priesthood. It seems he’s staying anyway, especially after that kiss he gave Gyeowool. But how would he react when he discovers his mom tried to meddle?

Will we ever meet the families of Songhwa and Junwan?

We’ve met Jeongwon’s mom Rosa and his very holy siblings, Seokhyeong’s eomma and even his awful cheating father, and of course, the cutest Woojoo. But what about the parents of Songhwa, Junwan, and Ikjun and Iksun? We’ve heard so much about how Songhwa learned to eat so fast because of her three brothers, but will we ever meet them? (Fingers crossed we get cameos for those, too!)

What’s happening with our favorite residents?

Aside from General Surgery’s Gyeowool and OB-GYN’s Minha, we also got Cardiothoracic’s Jaehak and Neurosurgery’s Seokmin, Chihong, and Seonbin. Did Jaehak ever get back his money and is his wife still staying with her parents? Did Seokmin and Seonbin become the NS resident couple? AND! According to actor Kim Junhan, Chihong is only meant to stay for one season. So what happens next? Didn’t he just become the chief resident? Are we really saying goodbye to Dr. Ahn Chihong? *cries*

What tracks did the twins end up choosing?

After several episodes of hijinks and learnings, medical students Yunbok and Hongdo has finally met Songhwa, the doctor who inspired them to enter the medical field. Before the meeting, at one point, Hongdo said he’ll join the Cardiothoracic department under Junwan, while Yunbok seemed to be fleeting about between departments. But will their decisions change after officially meeting Songhwa again?

Will the band ever end up performing in front of an actual audience?

Aside from Rosa and chairman Jongsoo, of course. We love seeing them practice within the familiar walls of Seokhyeong’s basement, but would they ever put a show in front of, say, a patient? Or even the hospital? They’re actually really good (the actors’ hard work really paid off!), and we’re excited to see them play new songs in the new season, dropping on Netflix this June 17.
