The liquor brand IGIN created by BTS Jin and celebrity chef Paik Jong-won *might* be coming to the Philippines. Here’s what we know so far:
On X (formerly Twitter), IGIN shared screenshots of tweets from Filipino users asking the brand to bring their products to the Philippines.
“Will you come to the Philippines please?” one fan wrote.
“IGIN in Philippines, yes?” another posted beside an edited photo of Jin with the Philippine flag.

ICYDK, IGIN is a liquor brand that just launched in December 2024. It was created by BTS Jin in collaboration with celebrity chef Paik Jong-won and the Korea Traditional Liquor Research Institute.
IGIN’s products are made with local agricultural products such as apples, watermelons, and plums. The liquor is also based on the specialties and traditions of Yesan, Chungcheongnam-do, which is Chef Paik Jong-won’s hometown and the location of the brand’s headquarters.
Since they only started last December 2024, IGIN has a limited product line-up so far.
As of writing, IGIN is available for purchase in their main store called Jini’s Lamp located in Yesan, South Korea, as well as in GS25 convenience stores across South Korea. There is also a pop-up store in Tipping Point located in Itaewon, Seoul open for a limited time only.
Outside of Korea, IGIN has been made available only in Hong Kong and Macau via 7-Eleven and Japan so far. Fingers crossed that the Philippines will soon be added to this list!
