After years of waiting and hyping, IKEA Philippines is finally open! Well, at least, their online store. The first ever branch of IKEA in the Philippines is slated to be the brand’s biggest ever in the world, but with the onslaught of the pandemic, the physical store’s opening has been delayed from the original schedule. But not to worry, since IKEA Philippines is now opening up their online store for customers like you and me.
Since a lot of people have been waiting for this, the website has limited capacity to avoid another crash like what happened when they launched the IKEA Family program. But even if not all customers can be accommodated at the same time, you can still “window-shop” through the website and add to cart items you are eyeing, so that when you’re able to enter the online store, you just need to check out and pay.
The items being offered online are also pretty limited. As of writing, while you can definitely view the details and specs of the items in their website, not everything can be added to your cart since some of them are unavailable for delivery, such as bigger items like sofas and tables.
