There’s no definite date yet when IKEA is opening, the only thing we know is — it’s “later this year.” But as early as now, fans are already racing to sign up for loyalty memberships with the Swedish furniture store’s first-ever store in the Philippines and the biggest in the world. In fact, they’re so excited that the website crashed.
While the construction for IKEA’s flagship store is still underway, the good news is you can get a glimpse of the items you’ve been longing for via IKEA’s online store through its website.
While we wait for that glorious day when we can start filling our carts, here are a few things you can add to your wishlist.
That matte finish, the muted colors, the clean lines — IKEA’s Dinera collection is a minimalist dream. This stoneware collection is stackable, dishwasher safe, and makes every meal from breakfast to dessert look amazing.
Did you know that IKEA lets you design your own desk? Finding the desk that’s just right for your needs isn’t easy, so the option to customize and build your own desk is just genius. Choose from different surfaces, table legs, storage options, colors — you name it. You can even make your desk an adjustable standing desk!
If you’re gonna add a desk to your cart, why not complete it with an office chair? As you can see with its curves, the Långfjäll is ergonomic and stylish. You can also customize it so you can choose the color, the back length, the base, and more.
This floor lamp has a timeless design and has an adjustable height. You can use it for reading, lighting for Zoom sessions and Facebook lives — you name it!
If you’re an avid follower of the Home Buddies group, you’d pretty much understand how strong the #teamkahoy movement is. This handmade bamboo lampshade is designed to add rustic, tropical vibes to your ceiling. The light and shadow art deflected from the lampshade leaves a pattern on the wall, making your entire room look extra cozy.
Why have a normal sofa when you can get one that can convert to an actual bed? The Vallentuna modular sofa bed also has lots of extra storage, making it perfect for small homes.
If you live in a small space, you’ve got to be smart when it comes to choosing your furniture. This dining table is extendable so you can make it larger when you have company, then collapse it back to its original size that’s good for just two people.
Need storage? With the Ivar storage system, you can customize the exact kind of storage you need. Just combine the different parts in the system to make the most of your space. You can add cabinets, shelves, hooks, surfaces — the possibilities are endless!
