A 15-year-old Jeffrey Dahmer fan from Las Piñas shocked local communities after news of his heinous crime against his 4-year-old nephew. What happened?

Authorities recently discovered the decomposing body of 4-year-old Prince Gray Mondero stuffed inside a washing machine at a house in Las Piñas City. The child has been reported missing for two days before the mother of the 15-year-old suspect, who is also his uncle, smelled a foul stench and came to investigate.

According to city police chief Col. Jaime Santos, the cause of death was due to blunt traumatic injuries in the head.

On the day of the alleged murder, the suspect was supposed to be watching over the child while he was playing with his cousins. But he denied any knowledge of the child’s whereabouts when their grandfather came looking.

Other family members became suspicious when the suspect posted a now-deleted cryptic Facebook status that reads:

“I have done something that I deeply regret and I need to do my best to make up for it. I let my intrusive thoughts win and I have to pay the consequences.

“I cannot express in words the pain and grift I feel for the victim’s family. It is important for me to express my deepest condolences to the family and to let them know that I am truly sorry for what happened.”

The suspect’s father admitted to the police that his child is an avid follower of Jeffrey Dahmer. For those who don’t know, Dahmer is an American serial killer and sex offender who dismembered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991. His life has been turned into a number of documentaries including an anthology series on Netflix titled Dahmer — Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

Based on evidence surrendered by the victim’s grandfather, the suspect even changed his Messenger chat name to “Jeffrey Dahmer.” He also sent graphic photos in a group chat where the victim is seen unconscious in a pail on the day he went missing.

Aside from the suspect’s bizarre connection with Dahmer, authorities also found his room to have pictures of Nazi swastika symbols.

What will happen to the suspect?

Police Colonel Santos said that the suspect “admitted his participation in what happened.” However, since he is only a minor, he was turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) for a psychological assessment and detainment. Authorities say that legal proceedings will be suspended until he turns 18.
