When Kanye cleared out Kim’s wardrobe

Back when the two were just dating, Kim asked Kanye for some style tips to which he responded by bringing his stylist at Kim’s house to clean her closet. Though Kim cried at first, she eventually realized that it’s time to move forward and let go of her old style. After giving most of her clothes away, Kanye promised to give Kim new and more fashionable clothes. Some people thought that this was overly controlling, some people thought this was #CoupleGoals, but I personally can’t deny that I loved the makeover.

The larger-than-life proposal

You gotta give it to Kanye: he’s a real showman, and it showed in his over-the-top proposal to Kim. He started, of course, by designing the perfect ring for Kim—the rapper told reporters that he actually hired four jewelers to create the perfect ring. He also hired an orchestra to perform Lana Del Rey’s Young and Beautiful since the singer couldn’t sing live that day. He rented out a baseball field, added some fireworks — the whole shebang. It’ll definitely go down as one of the most lavish and well-orchestrated proposals in history.

Back in 2014, the couple graced the cover of Vogue Magazine with the hashtag #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple. The couple was fresh off their engagement back then and were clearly so in love with one another. It was a controversial cover that had Anna Wintour defending her decision to the media, saying that it would have been a huge “misstep” not to feature some of the most prominent figures in the pop culture conversation. But she also implied that the couple wasn’t “deeply tasteful”, saying, “If we just remain deeply tasteful and just put deeply tasteful people on the cover, it would be a rather boring magazine!”

Them “exposing” Taylor Swift

Well, who can forget this ongoing feud that reached its peak because of a song? We all know about that famous VMAs moment that started it all — fast forward to a couple of years and the two seemed to patch things up until Kanye released the song “Famous”. The song included the line: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bitch famous.” This reignited their feud.

Taylor denied that she knew about this controversial line but Kanye insisted that he called Taylor to inform her that he was including this line. Things took a heated turn when Kim released footage of Kanye informing Taylor about the song. After multiple heavily loaded tweets, let’s just say this beef is far from over.

This controversial music video became the talk of the town back in 2013. The music video shows a topless Kim riding a motorcycle, at first it was just her looking straight at the camera. However, when Kanye joined the frame it looked like they were doing NSFW things. The music video gained a lot of attention and was even spoofed in Saturday Night Live.

The sweet video Kanye made for Kim’s 36th birthday

For her 36th birthday, Kanye surprised Kim with the most thoughtful gift ever. The rapper compiled all of Kim’s videos growing up into a tribute video. This goes to show that beyond material things, Kanye wants Kim to remember all the memories she had growing up as well as the memories they shared as a family. Say what you want about the couple, but we’d all be lying if we said our hearts didn’t melt a little after watching this.

The whole interview showcased how comfortable they are with one another, with Kanye even making fun of Kim for saying that their house doesn’t have a jacuzzi.

When Kim turned 40 last year, Kanye surprised her with the most… interesting gift ever! As weird as it might sound, Kanye gave Kim a special hologram of her late father Robert Kardashian. Many of us were just weirded out, but Kim seemed to like it. The reality star gushed about her husband’s special gift and said that she was full of emotions while watching it.
