8 Local Brands with Instagram-Worthy Packaging

Oct 16, 2017   •   Tynne De Leon

Branding is such an important factor in our buying habits. So much so that there are times when we buy things just because the packaging is so attractive (guilty as charged!). That’s why a lot of our local brands are stepping up their game, proving everyone how creative Pinoy designers are. Check out these local brands that have eye-catching designs, they’re too good for the ‘gram!

Sunnies Studios

A post shared by Krissie Bedaña (@krissiemwah) on Oct 2, 2017 at 12:10am PDT

When we think of Sunnies Studios, the first thing that comes to mind is its perfect choice of pantones, plus the minimalist chic design. It has rebirthed classic elements and gave them a millennial touch, no wonder a lot of people quickly fell in love with this aesthetically-pleasing brand. Their products are so chic! Plus they also have yearly planners! The 2018 Sunnies Agenda just came out. You can pre-order it now here.

Don Papa Rum

Don Papa Rum’s packaging is both classy and creative—you’d never want to throw the bottle away. This 100% Filipino made rum has an international reputation; its packaging even won a GD USA Magazine American Package Design Award! See also their 10th year edition package.

Happy Skin

A post shared by Happy Skin Cosmetics® (@happyskin_ph) on Oct 7, 2017 at 5:51am PDT

When you spot a cute, colorful make-up store in the mall it’s unmistakably Happy Skin’s. They even have cartoon character-themed make-ups that it’s tempting to buy all of them. Not only they look good in your make-up collection, they’re best for the ‘gram!

BLK

A post shared by blk cosmetics ph (@blkcosmeticsph) on Oct 6, 2017 at 9:01pm PDT

BLK is the newest cosmetics in town, and it’s bound to be the next big thing. Its design is chic and sophisticated, just like its owner, “It”-girl, Anne Curtis. You’d want to take photos of these babies the whole day!

Funk Trunk

A post shared by Funk Trunk (@funktrunkph) on Sep 25, 2017 at 6:00am PDT

What we love about Funk Trunk is its trendy take on eco-friendly products—they look like they’ll never go out of style. They sell things made of wood such as sunglasses, iPhone cases and flash drives! Some of their packaging are also made out of wood, and you’ll probably end up buying a lot.

Snoe

A post shared by Snoe Beauty Inc. (@snoebeautyinc) on Sep 25, 2017 at 6:50pm PDT

A mix of retro and chic is probably what Snoe is aiming for their brand design, and we love how these styles just complement each other. Not to mention, they have great flat lays on their Instagram!

Locally

A post shared by Locally PH (@locally_ph) on Jun 10, 2017 at 7:00pm PDT

The fancy calligraphy-style design of Locally is so attractive, their products usually stand out on the store shelves. You probably bought one because of the cute packaging! The juices tasted good too, and they’re 100% locally-made.

Tsaa Laya

A post shared by Tsaa Laya (@tsaalaya) on Nov 17, 2016 at 4:10am PST

Tsaa Laya’s packaging is minimalist and unpretentious. Its design is simply Pinoy, and the colors are so soothing it might make you savor your tea more. You can even reuse the tea cans as coin banks or pen holders, and you won’t want to peel off its cute design!
