Branding is such an important factor in our buying habits. So much so that there are times when we buy things just because the packaging is so attractive (guilty as charged!). That’s why a lot of our local brands are stepping up their game, proving everyone how creative Pinoy designers are. Check out these local brands that have eye-catching designs, they’re too good for the ‘gram!
When we think of Sunnies Studios, the first thing that comes to mind is its perfect choice of pantones, plus the minimalist chic design. It has rebirthed classic elements and gave them a millennial touch, no wonder a lot of people quickly fell in love with this aesthetically-pleasing brand. Their products are so chic! Don Papa Rum’s packaging is both classy and creative—you’d never want to throw the bottle away. This 100% Filipino made rum has an international reputation; its packaging even won a GD USA Magazine American Package Design Award! See also their 10th year edition package.
When you spot a cute, colorful make-up store in the mall it’s unmistakably Happy Skin’s. They even have cartoon character-themed make-ups that it’s tempting to buy all of them. Not only they look good in your make-up collection, they’re best for the ‘gram!
BLK is the newest cosmetics in town, and it’s bound to be the next big thing. Its design is chic and sophisticated, just like its owner, “It”-girl, Anne Curtis. You’d want to take photos of these babies the whole day!
What we love about Funk Trunk is its trendy take on eco-friendly products—they look like they’ll never go out of style. They sell things made of wood such as sunglasses, iPhone cases and flash drives! Some of their packaging are also made out of wood, and you’ll probably end up buying a lot.
A mix of retro and chic is probably what Snoe is aiming for their brand design, and we love how these styles just complement each other. Not to mention, they have great flat lays on their Instagram!
The fancy calligraphy-style design of Locally is so attractive, their products usually stand out on the store shelves. You probably bought one because of the cute packaging! The juices tasted good too, and they’re 100% locally-made.
Tsaa Laya’s packaging is minimalist and unpretentious. Its design is simply Pinoy, and the colors are so soothing it might make you savor your tea more. You can even reuse the tea cans as coin banks or pen holders, and you won’t want to peel off its cute design!
