Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard all about the fiasco regarding the newly launched slogan of the Department of Tourism (DoT): “Love the Philippines.” Last week, the DoT unveiled the rebranded slogan, but its video representation quickly drew criticism since it used stock footage from other countries like Thailand, Indonesia, and Dubai — instead of the Philippines.
so apparently some of the places highlighted on DOT’s newest tourism campaign video, Love the Philippines, weren’t shot in the Philippines and were only stolen from a website called Storyblocks. Comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto’s entry might be the best one yet. It’s a slogan you can hear!
