It’s officially the season for things that spark joy: parols, giant trees, 3D screens screaming at you in HD, and malls maxing out their budget on festive décor. If you’re making a list of Christmas spots to hop around the Metro (and checking it twice, of course), we’ve got you covered. From record-breaking trees to full-blown outdoor light shows and even a POP MART takeover, here are the brightest, loudest, most magical Christmas displays in Metro Manila you shouldn’t miss this year.

Along 5th Avenue, the massive 3D LED screen already feels like walking past Times Square: Filipino edition. Add a 40-foot Christmas tree dripping with lights, and that’s instant holiday serotonin for the corporate workers going on their routine evening strolls.
This year’s theme, “The Real Gifts Around the Christmas Tree,” was created in partnership with the Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. The grand lighting event last November brought together world-class Filipino performers and enough festive glow to make even the Grinch tear up a little.
Glorietta once again proves it loves a good flex for the ‘Gram. Standing at 66 feet, their tree is the tallest indoor Christmas tree in the metro, and it is glorious. Head to the Glorietta Activity Center to see it in full sparkle.
The mall also hosts the Designers Holiday Bazaar, curated by Beatriz and Sofia Zobel and featuring over 110 Filipino artisans. Catch it at Greenbelt 5 and Glorietta until December 7—perfect for gift-hunting or self-care shopping.
Ayala Avenue’s holiday makeover is practically a Metro Manila tradition at this point—and they always deliver. This year’s theme pulls from the sarimanok (prosperity) and the anahaw (resilience), creating a colorful, culturally rich Christmas display.
Expect rows of iconic parols lighting up Ayala Avenue, Makati Avenue, Paseo de Roxas, and Ayala Triangle Gardens. Pro tip: Drop by Ayala Triangle on weekends for free performances from Filipino buskers and artists.

Fisher Mall went straight for the heart this year. Their Christmas festivities support Bahay Aruga, a free halfway home for children with cancer. The ceremonial lighting featured the QC Symphonic Band, Malabon Concert Singers, Ballet Manila, and even LEGO displays by the PinoyLUG community.
But the real highlight is the partnership announcement. When you buy a Fisher Elite Card from the supermarket or department store until December 31, 2025, proceeds help fund essentials—food, care, medical needs—for kids under Bahay Aruga.

POP MART is everywhere, and now it’s also a Christmas tree. SM Megamall unveiled a 45-foot POP MART-themed tree, decorated with giant versions of their signature bag charms. It’s bold, it’s adorable, and it’s tailor-made for people who say “just one more blind box.” If you’re a POP MART collector (or an enabler), this is your holiday pilgrimage site.
Shangri-La Plaza’s luxurious display is worth experiencing in person. The annual Grand Tree Lighting came with performances from the Philippine Madrigal Singers, Manila String Machine, Johann Enriquez, Sheena Lee Palad, plus dancers from Ballet Manila and the Speed Dancers.
The mall’s décor combines crystal accents, floating ornaments, and a massive suspended tree that looks like it’s levitating in the middle of the mall. The gold-and-green palette adds that signature Shang elegance.
Don’t miss weekend showcases of dance and music: MMFF films at the Red Carpet Cinema (Dec 25), Boxing Day Sale (Dec 26), and an encore of the Lights fireworks show (Dec 30, 8 PM).

If you want an outdoor Christmas experience without leaving the city, Ayala Malls Manila Bay has transformed its 1-hectare garden into a huge holiday playground. Expect a lot of festive events before the year ends. There’s Giftville, a themed holiday market, open until Jan 18, 2026, Santa’s Nook where families can do meet-and-greets and watch chorale shows until Dec 28, and Garden Lights, Holiday Nights, a 6-minute lights-and-sound spectacle complete with fireworks, happening Wed/Sat/Sun from 6:30 PM to 10 PM (until Jan 8, 2026).

Greenhills leaned into the travel fantasy this year. Partnering with EVA Air, the mall created a Christmas tree inspired by their new Taipei–Dallas Fort Worth route—yes, with playful Texan details sprinkled in.
RCBC is also running a Holidays Around the World Raffle Promo until January 15, 2026. RCBC credit cardholders earn raffle entries when they shop or dine at GH Mall—prizes include EVA Air tickets to multiple destinations.
Between its global-themed décor, international restaurants, and gift options, GH Mall is basically a mini airport terminal—minus the stress and the baggage fees.
