Christophe is a Filipino-French businessman. His Facebook bio says that he is from Saint-Michel-sur-Orge in France. It also indicated that he studied Sociology at Institut Catholique de Paris. While his profile didn’t detail when he moved to Siargao, it did show photos of him enjoying local waves.

Christophe is reportedly the owner and co-founder of the online magazine BE Siargao. A quick scroll through his Facebook profile showed he frequently shared photos from BE Siargao’s page.

News outlets also report that Christophe is the founder and managing director of Maison Bukana, a luxury resort in Siargao. Nadine has recently visited the island in September where she dined with the locals and was even photographed buying a bottle of Mang Tomas. The actress also uploaded a sizzling photo geotagged to Maison Bukana to which Christophe replied with a bunch of emojis.

Speaking of social media, it looks like Christophe doesn’t seem to be active online much. Yeah, he’s on Facebook but it’s largely set to private. So if you’re planning on looking him up, you might have a hard time. Nadine follows his Instagram account which is obviously, once again, set to private. But we see him dropping comments on the actress’ posts every now and then, usually with a bunch of emojis that we’re sure is some form of communication between the two.

Rumors about the pair dating started circulating in August 2021. Pictures circulated online of Nadine and Christophe in various places in Siargao. And then in October 2021, they were photographed holding hands at a mall in the metro.

To date, the actress has never explicitly revealed what role Christophe plays in her life but it’s safe to assume it’s more than a friendship.

 

Met the family?

It looks like Nadine’s family also recently met her new beau. Ulysses Lustre, the actor’s father, took to Facebook to post selfies with Christophe and captioned it with “Nice to meet you.” Unfortunately, the post has since been deleted but screenshots still exist in the annals of the internet.

While it looks like President Nadine Lustre has happily moved on to a new relationship, the news still broke the hearts of many JaDine fans. Many have always held out hope that James and Nadine would someday get back together. But while it is disappointing, JaDine fans have nothing but support for Nadine and James even if they live separate lives now.

What does James Reid have to say about it?

The other half of the cosmic pair JaDine seems to be taking the news well. James and Nadine officially started dating in 2016 and dated for almost four years before announcing their breakup in January 2020. Now that Nadine seems to have found love again, all eyes are on James. Last August, when he was asked how he would feel if Nadine got into a new relationship, he said it’s not up to him.

“I don’t think anyone in that situation is excited to see their ex with someone else, but you know, that’s not my choice,” he said. “It can’t be my choice but if magically I had to decide whether or not she’d be with someone, of course, I wish her the best, I want her to be happy.”

We’re just thankful James and Nadine continue to be friends even after their breakup. They still go on trips together with friends and even closely collaborate on music projects under Careless, James’ record label. We stan a healthy breakup!
