A Joyful Milestone: Natalie Dau Finishes Her Inspiring 1000km Run at Jollibee’s 1000th Store

Jollibee proudly celebrated a milestone alongside ultramarathon runner Natalie Dau as she completed her 1000km journey from North Luzon to Metro Manila at the 1000th Jollibee store located at BGC Triangle on May 2, 2025.

Project 1000 began on April 21 in Santa Ana, Cagayan, with everyone’s Best Friend Jollibee sending Natalie off on a journey full of courage, passion, and heart. Throughout her 12-day run, Natalie passed by iconic landmarks, interacted with communities, and held special charity events for children, signifying that the feat wasn’t just about achieving another record, but instead about bringing joy and countless smiles to others.

The run’s final kilometers throughout Bonifacio Global City were especially meaningful, with several groups running with Natalie, including students from Sisters of Mary, Fort Bonifacio Development Foundation Inc.’s Bayani Scholars, and members of different running clubs. Natalie’s immediate family and friends also joined the celebration.

BGC’s streets were filled with energy from fans, fellow runners, media, and other supporters eager to witness the historic finish. Adding to the joy of the moment, Jollibee joined the final stretch, energizing the crowd as they cheered Natalie on to the finish line.

Natalie Dau: An inspiration to all

“Jollibee has been amazing, we’ve met many times across all stops. To be able to feed children along the way that have never had Jollibee and have never met Jollibee, and to be able to bring some joy into their lives is what this run is all about. It’s about raising money for Filipino children and Jollibee has been such an amazing partner,” Natalie shared after finishing her run. “Filipinos have touched all of our hearts; they’ve welcomed us and have been so kind. It’s truly changed me forever.”

The exclusive event held inside the store gathered media, family and friends, and other key figures who were instrumental to Project 1000’s run in the Philippines. The Local Government of Taguig City, represented by Honorable Mayor Lani Cayetano, and the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) represented by its President, Engr. Joshua Bingcang also graced the occasion and shared congratulatory remarks for Natalie and the team.

“I was here for Jollibee’s 1000th store milestone, and today, I witnessed another milestone with Natalie’s incredible 1000km journey. Thank you for being an inspiration to us all,” said Mayor Lani Cayetano.

Ending the program was a fitting tribute—a Chickenjoy toast—offering a warm, delicious, and a very Filipino way of celebrating a remarkable and unforgettable journey.
