Rice & Dough puts two favorites of many, sushi and pizza, under one awesome roof. They’ve combined Italian and Japanese cuisine, and the result is carb-riffic. Start with their signature appetizer Prosciutto Focaccia; follow it up with the impressive World War Roll; finish strong with their fantastic Crème Brulee Cake. Alternatively, wear the chef hat with their DIY sushi and pizza. Choose your toppings, fillings and flavor combination.

Refresh your palate with Wagga Wagga’s unusual, flavor-packed grub. From finding the place to getting your first bite, eating at Wagga Wagga is an adventure. Its obscure location, bright interiors and extraordinary menu sum up to an extraordinary meal. Chef Justin David puts the spotlight on the Caribbean countries’ underrated flavors. Try the Caribbean Sausage and Bean Sliders, Jerk Chicken or Wings and the Shredded Oxtail Stew.

Foodies mourned the shutdown of a BGC favorite, 2nd’s, in June 2015. Remember their Bacon Chicharon, Truffled Three Cheese Mac and Uni Carbonara? We definitely missed their interesting and flavorful take on comfort food. Well, grief no further because 2nd’s is set to come back this month.
They’re asking suggestions for which menu items we want to taste again. That’s your cue to get your favorites back! Keep their sites on your radar for more updates.

Here’s another dose of good news, foodies! The Black Sheep’s genius Chef Jordy Navarra is back, and this time, he’s taking his Michelin star background to Toyo Eatery. Look forward to bold, innovative and standout Filipino food. Unlike Black Sheep, however, there’s no need to dress fancy. The focus is on the dishes reflecting Pinoy culture and flavors, warmly complemented with Filipino hospitality.
The menu largely depends on what’s the freshest available, which you can take advantage of through a degustation. Toyo Eatery officially opened last March 29.
