This Cute Kid Just Signed a "No Boyfriend" Contract

These days, it’s not enough to scare your daughter’s potential boyfriends with the tough parent act when she invites them home for dinner. It’s a battlefield out there for your kids and you have to prepare well in advance. Say, 30 years before your child even thinks about being in a relationship. An adorable video of a little girl who had to sign a “No Boyfriend Until 2053” contract is making rounds on TikTok and it has given parents an idea of what to do with their kids.

This cute 6-year-old girl named Alex doesn’t know what she just signed up for. In the TikTok viral video uploaded by “Life with Alex,” the little girl is sitting down at the table with her father who seems to be a policeman. A paper with the words “Contract: No Boyfriend ‘Til Year 2053” is on the table awaiting Alex’s signature.

“Walang boyfriend hanggang 2053. Ano, okay ka?” asked her father. Alex innocently nods while taking her time signing the “contract.”

According to her parents, the whole thing was a funny exercise to help her practice writing her name.

“Recently po kasi natuto na siya magsulat ng name niya kaya po nag-try kami papirma name po niya at titingnan po namin reaction niya,” said Alex’s mom in an interview.

Whether it was an exercise or it was for real, the Internet is loving it anyway. The cute video has amassed 11.8 million views and almost 9k comments as of writing.

Netizens are helping Alex find a loophole

It’s safe to say Pinoys on TikTok enjoyed the video. Some even said it gave them an idea for their own kids, to make sure they don’t get into a relationship until they’re well into their 30s.

“30 years from now. Kung 5 years old siya ngayon, e’di hanggang 35 yers old sya bawal,” commented one.

“Her innocent look. She never [thinks of] the future yet since [having a] boyfriend is not part of her younger age,” said another.

Meanwhile, an attorney just had to comment: “Cute. Hahahha. Don’t worry bunso, Invalid contract yan. Hehe.”

Many are jokingly pointing out that Alex’s parents didn’t get the contract notarized so it isn’t binding. When Alex is all grown up, she might want to revisit this video and use those comments as a way to get out of the “contract.”
