Netflix’s K-drama Our Beloved Summer has us all hook, line, and sinker every Mondays and Tuesdays. Following the story of two ex-lovers as they rediscover one another as adults five years after their break-up feels like it’s a set-up for a lot of heartache and heartbreak, but the way the drama handles it still makes for a relatable, funny, and kilig watch (though yes, we admit it was still pretty angst-y at some parts).

It’s pretty amazing how the two leads, Kook Yeon-su (Kim Da-mi) and Choi Woong (Choi Woo-sik), interact with each other in romantic, friendly, and not-so-friendly terms because they look like complete opposites of each other.
