Concerts are definitely one of the biggest moments of a fangirl’s life (next to meeting your idol face-to-face, of course). You can finally get out of the headphone world and sing these anthems out loud with a big crowd.
That said, concerts would not be as lit if it weren’t for the people you’re partying with in that massive arena. If you’re a constant concertgoer, you definitely encountered them a lot of times.
Here are people who will either make or break your concert experience:
You can easily spot them in the crowd with their bored looks, arms closed. But no matter how they mock the looks and talent of the performers, they just love their children so much that they’re willing to listen to them for 120 minutes just to let their kids have a good time. Aww, you’re the best, ma and pa!
Ah, the crowd favorite! Your concert experience will not be complete without them approaching you with the words, “VIP, Upper Box, ma’am?” “Lower box, lower box, lower box!”
You curse them when tickets are sold-out since you have no choice but buy from them.
Living in the moment is not enough for them, so they record all the best parts in their GoPro and iPads. They even temporarily delete most of their files on their gadgets to have space to document the whole concert. They’re the people most likely to experience post-concert depression (a.k.a. PCD), so you can’t really blame them for documenting everything.
What could be more awkward than having a very clingy couple as your seatmates? A little more kissing and touching is probably acceptable, until they bump you several times and most likely ruin your night. Get a room, people.
