The Alta Tita or the Pamintita are the gay men (aka paminta) who spend their vacation lounging in multicolored scarves and three-foot fans. Half-naked boy toys and bottles of liquor can usually be spotted in the vicinity of these Alta Titas and Pamintitas. They also wear nothing but the very best in beach wear—but they never, EVER go into the water, because that would ruin their make-up.
You’d expect Super Grinders to go on a vacation to escape their day jobs, but no, they work so hard in LaBoracay that their “meetings” last until the next morning. All a Super Grinder really needs is their phone and a stable internet connection, so it’s rare to see these hard workers out of their rooms. It’s still a mystery where they get the energy, but all their ka-meetings leave with smiles on their faces—a testament to how good Super Grinders are at their job.
The Boracay Froshies are those new to the island, eager to try everything and anything it has to offer. Boracay Froshies are great jumpers, an ability they use to jump to and from the many clubs and parties during Labor Day weekend. Their eyes brighten at the sight of alcohol and the prospect of making new friends. The only drawback to being a Boracay Frosh or hanging out with one is their low alcohol tolerance and tendency for hangovers the morning after.
Mostly everyone, save for the Originals, goes back to the city after Labor weekend, but there is one type of person who stays: The Local Foreigner. These guys are from all over the world and choose to stay in Boracay indefinitely, either because the beach life chose them or because they’ve found love in a hopeless place. Most often spotted wearing cornrows and lobster-red shoulders from the sun.

Abu is a fangirl by day, and a sleeping fangirl by night. She is mostly seen on Twitter which she considers her first home even though she loathes with all her being its cancel culture (We can all grow and learn guys!). She ranks as the Philippines' number one Modern Family fan in QuizUp. She's a cool girl (she also wrote this write-up).
