Starting a business is tough. In order to earn money, you have to catch your potential customer’s attention. And if it’s catching attention we’re talking about, Filipinos are experts at that. Have you seen how vendors adapted to the pandemic with witty business names? (Swab Taste is our personal favorite, TBH). If you’re looking for a laugh you’ve come to the right place, check out these other stores with hilarious, creative names.
We have to admit, the store name was such a low-hanging fruit but it worked. And yes, Egg Sheeran is an actual egg store in Butuan. And no, they don’t sell eggs like these:
Money Heist Season 5 isn’t here yet but this peanut cart is. 10/10 would buy. Plus points if the vendor looks like the Professor!
This sari-sari store’s name is giving us all the kilig feels. Don’t be shocked if you go there to buy suka and find the rest of Ocean’s Eleven hanging out.
You’ve heard of Egg Sheeran, now get ready for Tealor Swift. This milk tea shop in Butuan promises to “serve and satisfy customers and at the same time become one of the admired milk tea shops in the Philippines.” We bet service here is really swift too.
We aren’t letting anyone touch our hair except for hairdressers at Starbuhoks Salon & Spa. Does their service come with free coffee?
If the famous convenience store had an origin story, it would begin with 7-Evelyn. Sadly, this witty sari-sari store and its owner’s efforts went to waste. In 2019, someone from 7-Eleven visited the small store and asked its owners to replace the signage.
It’s a simple shopping mall but it will make you say… “Sana (m)all.” Watch out, this store might just be the next SM SuperMalls.
Spotted: pabebe bike store. We won’t blame you if you literally LOL’d for this one.
Do you know more witty Filipino store names?
