Check Out These January Weekend Heritage Walks in Manila for History Buffs and Curious Minds

Jan 12, 2024   •   Kyzia Maramara

Joining heritage walks is one of the best ways to discover any city on foot and meet new people. Even if you’re born and raised in Manila and you claim to know every eskinita and kanto there is, you’d be surprised to still discover hidden gems and interesting historical facts. If you’ve made it a point to try new things this 2024, Renacimiento Manila‘s weekend heritage walks can tick that item off your bucket list.

Renacimiento Manila heritage walks

Renacimiento Manila is a cultural organization that’s actively working toward the cultural rebirth of Manila. They constantly hold heritage walks in Intramuros, Santa Cruz, Pasig, and other parts of the metro. Last year, they even held a Noli and Fili-themed heritage walk that had participants wearing comfortable Filipiniana attire and going on an informative trek through Binondo.
