Oh Shux! Here’s What Nation’s Girl Group BINI Are Checking Out on Shopee

In 2022, Gweneth “Gwen” Apuli, lead singer and rapper for P-pop sensation BINI, mistakenly mentioned fellow band member Mikha Lim ordering from Shopee in a live interview. Two years later, BINI takes center stage as the new Shopee brand ambassador, showcasing the great power of manifestation!

When the e-commerce giant launched its collaboration with the chart-topping girl group, BINI performed their new jingle, ‘Ang Dali-Dali sa Shopee,’ featuring their latest innovative customer experience enhancements.

 

BINI’s endorsement of Shopee, a “Manifestation”

Who would have expected that eventually, BINI would be the nation’s summer queen and become the new brand ambassador of Shopee? BINI’s main dancer and sub-vocalist, Sheena Catacutan, attributed the culmination of this historical moment not only to their hard work and Shopee’s cooperation but also to the power of manifestation. “Si Shopee po talaga ay ni-manifest namin,” she said.

Shopee mirrored this sentiment, expressing their desire to work with BINI because of their vibrant energy and impact on the young generation. “Their vibrant energy perfectly embodies how we want our users to feel when they shop on Shopee – easy, reassuring, and fun,” said Huiyan Pan, Regional Marketing Lead at Shopee. “Capturing the essence of their generation, BINI is truly the ideal ambassador to represent Gen Z and inspire young Filipinos nationwide to feel na Ang Dali-Dali sa Shopee. We are thrilled to be working with them.”

The selection of BINI as the new brand ambassador is part of Shopee’s efforts to captivate Gen Z, the digital era’s rising star. As the new face of Shopee, the girl group embodies Gen Z’s values, reflected in their commitment to keeping it real, heartfelt connections with their fans, ‘Blooms,’ and shining individuality in every performance.

Performing “Ang Dali-Dali sa Shopee,” BINI lit up the stage, radiating infectious energy with their amazing vocals and catchy choreography. They left the audience feeling more than ready to enjoy a positive and easy shopping experience with Shopee’s new, impressive features. But there’s more excitement in store for Blooms and Shopee users, with their TVC scheduled to premiere on May 31.

BINI members expressed that they look forward to this collaboration, its leader Jhoanna Robles saying, “We are really excited to work with Shopee dahil kami po mismo ay mga Shopee users. We feel proud because Shopee is loved by millions of Filipinos.”

“Contact lenses,” Stacey Sevilleja eagerly shared during the Shopee event. For Jhoanna, it’s a vanity mirror “na budol po ni Gwen.” And what’s in Gwen’s cart? Toys and supplies for her cats, of course! As a cat mom herself, Sheena spills that she’s looking at cat condos for her fur babies. Mikha and Aiah Arceta both want to check out decor, furniture, and appliances for their respective condos. Meanwhile, Colet Vergara will buy acrylic shoe boxes for her growing footwear collection.

 

Ang Dali Lang! Making Shopping at Shopee Easier

In its dedication and steadfast commitment to its millions of users, Shopee continues to challenge the limits of what online shopping can offer. As mentioned in the “Ang Dali-Dali sa Shopee” jingle with BINI, shopping at Shopee is made easier and more fun thanks to its new features, which include:

COD Unbox: Return on the Spot: Customers can open their parcel upon delivery to check if items are complete and in good condition. If not, they may return the parcel to the delivery rider right away and get their money back. Eligible items will have a “COD Unbox: Return on the Spot” label.

Change of Mind Returns: A new return and refund reason that allows you to return products if (1) the fit and style doesn’t suit you, (2) the product has a better price somewhere, or (3) you don’t need it anymore.

Shopee On-Time Delivery: A new feature that compensates shoppers with vouchers if their orders are not delivered within the estimated delivery date

With BINI as the new face of Shopee and the launch of its new features, the e-commerce platform is closer to deepening its connection with Gen Z and enhancing the overall online shopping experience for these young buyers. In continuously innovating, Shopee stays on top of the game, meeting the ever-changing needs of the evolving times.
