Office Habits that are Making Your Skin Break Out

Remember the line “keep calm and carry on” that everyone was obsessed with a thousand years ago? Turns out, the cliché actually makes pretty good beauty advice. Don’t let stress take over if you don’t want pimples to take over your face. Find an activity to release office tension like exercising, painting or maybe even dating a new bae.
Contrary to popular belief, what goes on inside the body actually affects skin more than exterior elements (like pollution, skincare and makeup). That means you need to change your diet if you’ve been breaking out more than usual.
That reminder is especially important if you’re already stressed from work and exposed to a dirty environment (perhaps during your commute to the office). Avoid over consumption of dairy, processed food and oily products. Stick to fruits, greens and whole grains.
When was the last time someone cleaned, let alone wiped, the office phone? Do you even remember the phone being sanitized in any form? Just imagine how much bacteria you’re pressing into your face as you telebabad with clients.
There’s nothing wrong with a healthy, natural dose of makeup. Some professions require it while for others, it’s a personal choice to bring out their best features. But when you’re working from dusk to dawn, make up becomes a problem.
Letting your face marinate in makeup for too long (aka every time you go on OT) is a fast ticket to clogged pores. Wear as minimal makeup as possible, and keep handy makeup-removing wipes at your office desk.
